My First Ever Youtube Video

Well, Here We Go, I Guess 🐍

So I did it. I actually uploaded my first ever YouTube video about this whole Snakes with Legs thing, and honestly? I'm not sure if I should be proud or mildly horrified at the evidence of my complete lack of expertise being permanently stored on the internet.

I'm Beth, 22, an illustration graduate, and I'm attempting to turn my kitchen doodles of snakes with legs into an actual business. Not lizards with four legs – that would be normal. Snakes with exactly two legs, perpetually grumpy, trying to do human things with predictable chaos. Because apparently, this made sense to someone at Kings Trust who gave me a grant.

Meet the Team (aka My New Expensive Friends)

Siser Juliet (Jules): £298.43 of vinyl cutting precision that I definitely don't deserve yet. She's patient with my fumbling, which is more than I can say for most relationships in my life.

The EcoTank Printer: £126.65 worth of "surely printing stickers can't be that complicated, right?" Narrator voice: It was, in fact, that complicated.

Me: Priceless. Or worthless. The jury's still out.

The Reality Check

I have 30 days to figure out if this is brilliant or completely ridiculous. The grant money is spent, the equipment is here, and I've got £590+ worth of inventory ready to sell. No pressure at all.

The thing is, I genuinely have no idea what I'm doing. I'm figuring out vinyl cutting from YouTube tutorials, learning business things on the fly, and trying to convince people that snakes with legs attempting human activities is somehow worth spending money on.

But here's the thing – everything's so silly anyway, so why not document the chaos?

Following Along on This Journey

If you want to watch someone stumble through building a business with determination, mild panic, and an unreasonable number of grumpy snake illustrations:

Actually Helpful Things

Kings Trust: These legends are helping me not completely fail – if you're 18-30 and have a weird business idea, they might just give you money for it too.

So here we are. One YouTube video down, approximately infinity business things to figure out. The snakes are judging me, Jules is waiting patiently for my next fumbling attempt, and I'm about to find out if the world needs grumpy snakes with legs as much as I think it does.

Everything's so silly. Might as well document it.
